Photo Aide is a flexible and powerful photo calculator with a large photo equipment database:
- The ISO, aperture, shutters speed, focal length, and guide number values are adjustable in the range that your camera, lens, and flash support.
- It has a large database of DSLRs, lenses and flashes from all major manufacturers.
- It supports custom equipment — if your camera, lens, or flash is not in the database you can easily add it.

- Focal length corresponding to an angle of view
- The recorded rectangle image size (field of view), for a focal length and subject distance
- Focal length or subject distance that provide a specific field of view
- Equivalent ISO, aperture and shutter speed combinations
- Flash subject distance for a combination of ISO, aperture, flash head zoom, and flash output power
